Virus Cell Death Conference at Norra Latin We are pleased to announce the Virus Cell Death Conference "To kill or to be killed. Viral evasion strategies and interference with cell death machinery" at Norra Latin in Stockholm 19-21 November 2009. The conference is organized under the sponsorship of the Swedish Medical Research Council (VR), Karolinska Institutet, the Journal of Internal Medicine, and the Swedish Cancer Society (Cancerfonden). The main goal of this Conference is to integrate the fields of virus pathogenesis and cell death - both apoptosis and autophagy- to synergize research efforts performed in these areas and to discuss potential therapeutic and vaccine strategies. The aim of the Organizing Committee is to invite the leading researchers in virus pathogenesis and cell death to meet with leading immunologists at this meeting.
